DIY Laundry Detergent

Hi lovelies!

This is my DIY laundry detergent recipe! Super easy! Laundry soap is super scary IMO. I have heard of children dying and going into coma’s over one taste of laundry soap, Obviously we pray this never ever happens and our chemicals should always be up high, but this is so scary! This laundry soap is natural, super inexpensive and lasts forever!

1 cup Borax

1 1/2 cup grated Castile soap ( I use JR Watkins – I use this for everything, including my face washing routine, so gentle! )

1 cup washing soda – So, I couldn’t find washing soda anywhere, but great trick… you can easily turn baking soda into washing soda, I just got some arm&hammer baking soda and bake it in the oven for 2 hours at 400 degrees. An hour in, stir the baking soda and voila! washing soda!

20 drops essential oils – I use purification & lemon, just because purification is absolutely amazing for laundry! & Lemon is great for cleaning and one of my favourite scents!

This is a dry laundry soap, so mix all together and your done!

When I make laundry soap, I make it in bulk so I did this recipe x5. It lasts forever! All you need is 1 1/2 tablespoons of this detergent!

Make sure you keep in a glass container for your essential oils!

Voila! Laundry Detergent, cost me under $10 and I have enough to make lots more batches!

xoxo, B
